"Glamour," the poem, was written on February 16, 2020. After, I sat down at the piano and wrote the song.
This song explores yearning, loving, longing and wanting. And torturing yourself to get it. But it has hints of joy, for in it the realization comes that it's what is being done. Is there nothing better? At least I can see dancers at night.

Glamour lashes
For you I'm a woman
Glamour dresses that I flaunt by your eyes

I realize there is nothing better.

Than when I torture myself in my glamourous shoes
and beg for another look from you.

40 miles
Per hour I spent
Imaginations
Of falling into you lips

I'm not afraid to love you like the other
but there is no time.

So I'll sit quietly in red, white, and blue
and gloss up my lips like "the other women do."

At least I can see dancers at night.
